Reciprocal Certification Procedure

The Applicant shall submit the Uniform Application Checklist for Reciprocal Reinsurers Jurisdiction (initial and renewal applications) and any other reasonable requirements deemed necessary for certification by the Commissioner. Upon notice and approval of the application, the effective date will be as of the beginning of the quarter in which the application is received. Please see Delaware Title 18, Section 911(6) and Delaware Administrative Code 1003 – Credit for Reinsurance, Section 9 for the applicable law and regulation on reciprocal reinsurers.
